Meet Afghanistan veteran Chris Maddeford and his service dog, AJ. In addition to emotional support, AJ physically supports Chris, who had back surgery as result of the injuries he sustained after a bomb explosion in the war.

He has also been trained to turn on the light before Chris enters a room and to wake Chris up if he is having a nightmare.
